- I have heard that the new aga chips do have a 35ns pixel clock.
- And as it has been explained to me you use this formula
- (1/pixel clock ns)*(1/pixels on screen)=fps or hz
-
- So with some math I was looking at the 800x600 screen modes and it
- seems there is more room there than a 36 fps screen( ie 72 interlae)
-
- you have:
- 1 1 1
- ------- * ---- * --- = 59.5 fps
- 35 ns 800 600
-
- So isn't it concievable to have atleast a 50hz noninterlace 800x600
- screen?
-
- What part of this equation am I missing?
-
- Decides the fact you might need a special multi-sync for it.
-
- Any replies would be appreciated.
