- Hi-
- Not sure this is really a hardware problem, but...
-
- I have an A1000 with
- -it's normal 512K
- -a MicroBotics StarBoard II with 2 Mb installed
- -a SupraDrive 4x4 (v 1.10d or so) SCSI connected to a Seagate 1096N (or
- maybe 4096, I forget which) 84 Mb drive.
- -AmigaDOS 1.3
-
- I've some occasional problems where the HD would just lock up with the busy
- light on constantly. I can't hear any disc activity during this period. Also,
- the pointer tracking on the display is frozen as well. It listens to the
- Ctrl-Amiga-Amiga reboot sequence, but nothing else that I can tell. Usually,
- a power cycle would bring it back. The other day it did its trick; I power
- cycled everything, but it still hangs trying to mount one of the partitions at
- boot time. I have a pseudo-recent (2-3 weeks...low activity level on disc),
- but I'd like to avoid wiping the disc if I can. Does anyone have any
- suggestions for thawing out my system?
-
- Help?
