- I have an A2000 with an accelerator and multistart. This allows
- one to boot 1.3 and 68000 if you REALLY have to use 1.3 software.
- It's for sale BTW.

- You don't neccessarily need a box to put stuff in. Many people
- just need a HD and maby a modem.

- I'd wait for the A4000/030. Might cost a lot more though.

- Ya think Bill is an Amiga user? I wonder.

- If you don't need 16 million color palete and 256 entry color
- LUT and Ham8, get a A3000.

-
- I don't want to see Commodore break software, but if they must they
- must. Commodore used to have the only widely available multitasking
- OS for a desktop PC. Now, they have much competition ( Windows, OS/2 )
- As a consequence, they now have to move ahead. I think these
- statements are open to argument but essentially pragmatic.

-
- If you have a little extra money, buy an A500 for running the 1.3
- 68000 stuff. You should be able to pick one up used cheaply.
- Then buy a A3000 or A1200 or ..... for the new stuff.

- Lots of rumors but no facts.

- IBM have their own problems, to numerous to get into here.
