  23.     I have an A2000 with an accelerator and multistart.  This allows
  24.     one to boot 1.3 and 68000 if you REALLY have to use 1.3 software.

  61.     I don't want to see Commodore break software, but if they must they
  62.     must.  Commodore used to have the only widely available multitasking
  63.     OS for a desktop PC.  Now, they have much competition ( Windows, OS/2 )
  64.     As a consequence, they now have to move ahead.  I think these
  65.     statements are open to argument but essentially pragmatic.

  70.     If you have a little extra money, buy an A500 for running the 1.3
  71.     68000 stuff.  You should be able to pick one up used cheaply.
