- Banding mainly depends on the depth of the palette. While HAM8 can show
- all possible 16 Million colors most colors can only be changed with
- a 6bit resolution of each prime color. This is not sufficient to avoid
- banding.
- To be exact, even a true 24bit display is not sufficient to avoid banding
- in all cases.

- One can use dithering techniques to hide banding at the cost of reduced
- spatial resolution. I'm not sure how sophisticated the dithering of AdPro
- is.
