- If your monitor supports 800x600 interlaced (not all VGA-type monitors
- do, but many multiscanning ones do), you can tell your system that by
- installing the "Super72" monitor. Simply drag the Super72 icon from
- the Storage/Monitors directory to the Devs/Monitors directory. Once
- installed there, it will be invoked whenever you start your computer.
- If you don't want to reboot this first time, you can simply
- double-click on it to activate it.
-
- Now the ScreenMode Prefs will list modes such as Super72 SuperHires
- Lace, which is 800x600. Whatever tool converts your IFFs may need
- to be screen-mode aware to record this display ID in the IFF file, or
- else the IFF viewer needs to be aware to choose this mode to show it
- in.
