  11.    I have an A3000 with a DataLink 2000 and the MNP upgrade, and I have not 
  12. been able to get ZModem transfers to work while any of the MNP features are
  13. turned on.  I am connecting to VAX and UNIX accounts through a Xyplex, and
  14. have tried the "set session passall" command to no avail.  I have tried
  15. the ZModem transfers with JRComm, NComm with built-in ZModem, and NComm with
  16. external (XPR) ZModem.  I have also tried various MNP settings, and endless
  17. combinations of all of this, to no avail.  No matter which system I connect
  18. to, and no matter what zmodem software I use, I always get "buffer overflow"
  19. and other errors when any of the MNP features (synchronous mode or
  20. compression) are turned on.

  22.    If someone could give me some hints, such as what MNP settings and what
  23. terminal programs are known to work, it would be appreciated.  I would like
  24. to be able to take advantage of the synchronous mode when transferring
  25. binary files, and the synchronous mode and compression when transferring
  26. text files.
