- I have an A3000 with a DataLink 2000 and the MNP upgrade, and I have not
- been able to get ZModem transfers to work while any of the MNP features are
- turned on. I am connecting to VAX and UNIX accounts through a Xyplex, and
- have tried the "set session passall" command to no avail. I have tried
- the ZModem transfers with JRComm, NComm with built-in ZModem, and NComm with
- external (XPR) ZModem. I have also tried various MNP settings, and endless
- combinations of all of this, to no avail. No matter which system I connect
- to, and no matter what zmodem software I use, I always get "buffer overflow"
- and other errors when any of the MNP features (synchronous mode or
- compression) are turned on.
-
- If someone could give me some hints, such as what MNP settings and what
- terminal programs are known to work, it would be appreciated. I would like
- to be able to take advantage of the synchronous mode when transferring
- binary files, and the synchronous mode and compression when transferring
- text files.
