- Hi all.
-
- I was wondering if anyone out there could help me out with this.
-
- I have had a C= 2065 ethernet card and the As225 s/w for the last year or so.
- Now that I have a bit of time I was going to try to write some s/w for the
- ethernet card, specifically a nntp newsreader, a mail program (popmail client)
- or maybe evan a smtp mail system.
-
- Now there was no docs on how to devalope for the ethernet card, and I assume
- that I will need some support files (socket stuff) for my C compiler (SAS 6.1)
-
- I recall awhile ago someone mentioning a thingy called the Network Devalopers
- Kit, or something like that. I conacted C= AUS and they couldn't find out
- anything about it. I know that there is a sockets.library because GRn uses it
- for it's nntp support, but acording to the author it's only available to
- registered devalopers. :-(
-
- So the big question is, is there a network toolkit available to non registered
- devalopers? And if so where can I get it.
-
- Also on a side note
-
- (a) Has anyone else had the following error message when using the AS225 ftp
- program to send files from their Amiga up to another system.
-
- "bad directory components"
-
- I *always* get this whenever I do either a
-
- MPUT filename/template
- PUT filename
- SEND filename
-
- After this, get and mget also fail with the same error. The only way to correct
- it is to exit the program.
-
- (b) Whats the latest on rev 2 of the As225 s/w. I remeber someone (Dale Luck?)
- mentioning that it was still in beta over 6 months ago? Anyone got any more
- news on it? And if you do, does it have any other goodies in it like a mail
- (smtp please!) program in it.
-
- Any information on the above would be *much* appreciated,
-
