  10. I just upgraded my GPFAX software with the last patch released for Supra
  11. Modems.  I have the new ROM in my MODEM that supports silent answer and this
  12. patch adds support for this feature.  However, I have not been able to get
  13. silent answer to work, or to say the least, it is not doing what I thought
  14. it's supposed to do.

  16. What I'd like the MODEM to do (and this is what I thought silent answer was
  17. about) is answer a call without making the phone ring if such a call is a fax
  18. call.  On the other hand, if it is a voice call I want the phone to ring
  19. normally and the MODEM do nothing, so I can pick it up and talk to the caller.

  23. - Is this what silent answer is supposed to do?
  24. - If I am off track, what in this world is silent answer?
  25. - If I am on the right track, how can I get it to work?
