- The short answer is, the output of the standard Amiga hardware is about
- as good as a cheap cassette deck. The recently announced DSP chip, on the
- other hand, is potentially as good as the best studio quality equipment.
- 12-bit samples are about as good as good home quality stereo equipment.
- You can sample and play back at higher frequencies with software, but
- this is not well supported, and I doubt if it is really much of an
- improvement.
