  11. Howdy Kerry...shortly after I listened to the mod you posted here (I'm 
  12. assuming you mean Twilight Dreams as I haven't seen another in here by 
  13. you) I posted you privately, but got no response.  (I was away for a 
  14. while and if you answered, my host might have purged it after a certain 
  15. period, but I don't think it does that...anyway...).

  24. I noticed you were seeking opinions on the Twilight Dreams module you 
  25. sent to the c.s.a.audio newsgroup. Well, I grabbed it and had a listen, 
  26. and here is my (admittedly unprofessional) capsule critique:

  28.  Basically I thought it was pretty good.  A bit above average, but 
  29. nothing extraordinary.  I did, however, appreciate the Enigma/Shadow of 
  30. the Beast type mixture though. :)  I do prefer this slower, new-agey type 
  31. style.  The only negatives I can think of (I'm listening to it at the 
  32. moment, by the way)...the flute gets a bit whiney at points (the 
  33. occasional echo/background accompaniment was nice), and overall the song 
  34. was a bit repetitive.

  36.  Bear in mind, though, that it is much easier to pick nits than to praise 
  37. things.  Just for your own interest, if I were to scale this MOD, I'd 
  38. give it about a 6.5-7.0 (woul'da been higher if you had a cleaner 
  39. landing!). :)

  41.  Lessee...ummm...I don't have much in the way of credentials to be 
  42. spouting criticism, but I have a collection of MODs approaching 2000, so 
  43. I do have some "experience" I guess.  Everyone's tastes are different, 
  44. though, so don't take any of this too seriously.

  46.  If you have more personal MODs in a similar style (or any for that 
  47. matter), you can feel free to bloat 'em up with uuencoding and send 'em 
  48. my way, I'd be more than happy to criticize...errr...offer more opinions.
