  19. All I can really say is that I have been EXTREMELY pleased with my Aegis 
  20. Sound Master (yes, I got it just before it became the Sound Magic).  The 
  21. quality that I have squeezed from this sampler is superb.  There is 
  22. seemingly only one fault, though, at times, it seems like the biggest 
  23. blunder in the world: the internal microphone and the jacks for external 
  24. mics can only be turned on by way of a software switch.  The line inputs 
  25. are always active, the mics are not.  What this means is that if your 
  26. sampling software isn't programmed with the SoundMagic in mind, it 
  27. probably won't allow you to turn on the mics, leaving you with two inputs 
  28. instead of the five that are advertised.
