- All I can really say is that I have been EXTREMELY pleased with my Aegis
- Sound Master (yes, I got it just before it became the Sound Magic). The
- quality that I have squeezed from this sampler is superb. There is
- seemingly only one fault, though, at times, it seems like the biggest
- blunder in the world: the internal microphone and the jacks for external
- mics can only be turned on by way of a software switch. The line inputs
- are always active, the mics are not. What this means is that if your
- sampling software isn't programmed with the SoundMagic in mind, it
- probably won't allow you to turn on the mics, leaving you with two inputs
- instead of the five that are advertised.
-
- Also, Amiga Format rated this sampler very highly.
