- I'm having a problem with DynaCADD printing that is getting rather
- frusturating.
-
- The drawing I have is this: first, my background screen is set to a darkish
- grey (I do this 'cause I'm on a 2000, and want low contrast colors to reduce
- flickering). I have some 2D drawing in black, red, and yellow, and one view
- open to a 3D drawing, all of the entities of which are in yellow. I go to
- print it out by printing to a PostScript file. I select "PS" and do NOT
- select "Color" at the print box, and print. When I then go to print the
- postscript file (or view it with "Post"), only the black 2D objects and the 3D
- object show up. All of the other 2D objects are NOT THERE.
-
- Yesterday I was having a similar problem with another drawing (one that
- actually had 4 views onto the 3D drawing open), and I kept futzing around with
- layers and such, and eventually I got a printout that had everything on it.
- Unfortunately, I didn't keep notes of what I did, nor was I very scientific
- about it, so I do not know what it was I did that made things work. Of
- course, despite long frusturating futzing around today I can't get anything to
- print out.
-
- My question: does anybody else know the trick necessary to get DynaCADD to
- print a PostSctript file that will let you print out your drawing and have it
- show EVERYTHING? The manual is not at all helpful in this matter; the only
- thing that it suggests which remotely touches on my problem is that the print
- routine will only print those colors which you have selected in the area
- provied in the PostScript setup dialog box. Of course, I have all colors
- selected to print.
-
- A note: the printer I am using is a normal B&W laser printer. As such, I want
- all of the entities of all colors which are visible on my page to come out
- black on the laser printer. I know this is possible, because I did it by
- accident yesterday.
-
- PLEASE HELP!!!!!
-
- Thanks,
