  10. I'm having a little trouble with my system now that I've moved to
  11. RISC OS 3.10. When I try to dismount floppy disks the machine will
  12. sometimes hang completely (i.e. the mouse pointer doesn't move and
  13. the break key won't work). Some comments I've read have suggested this
  14. is due to early versions of the SCSI software for the Morley card.

  16. Can anyone confirm this connection - I've noticed that my hard disc
  17. seems to mount and dismount itself at will (the name under the icon
  18. keeps changing) but I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

  20. The SCSI modules from the EPROM on the card have the following
  21. version numbers:
  22. SCSIDriver    1.07
  23. SCSIFS        1.05
  24. SCSIFiler    1.05
  25. Do recent versions of the software exhibit these problems?

  27. I've got slightly later versions of the software (1.08, 1.07 and 1.06
  28. from memory) on the support disk that comes with the card, but I can't
  29. seem to replace the modules downloaded from ROM with copies from the
  30. hard disk. The newly loaded SCSIFS just refuses to recognise the disk,
  31. giving "Please insert disk '...'" messages. Any ideas how to replace
  32. the older modules at boot time?
