  23. With an ARM2 and certain modes, accessing the hard disk would blank the screen.
  24. Since the memory bandwidth is tight on certain 256 colour modes, RISC OS drops
  25. the video in favour of data from disk.

  27. With an ARM3 the situation is still possible - after all your main memory is
  28. running at 8MHz (I assume you've got an ARM3 upgrade?), and it's still possible
  29. to have tight bandwidths!
