  10. I overheard a phone call "to Acorn NZ" this morning as I was only listening to
  11. one side of the conversation the reply may not be absolutely exact, it went like
  12. this.

  16. ANONYMOUS : I would like to know the price of an A4000 please
  17.  
  18. ACORN NZ  : I'm sorry he's out to lunch right now ...

  21. The net result of the call after talking to three of the Acorn NZ head office
  22. staff was that the caller could not even have an approximate price for the
  23. order form.

  25. One consolation is that a local Appliance store "Noel Lemmings" is now stocking
  26. A3010 and A4000 ranges. The local dealer must be really &%$$ed off. I think if
  27. he put every advert he has ever made (and you could possibly add all Acorn NZs
  28. ads to the list as well) you might nearly have covered the Advertising space
  29. Noel Lemmings used in a flyer last weekend Advertising the two Acorn machines.

  31. The local dealer seems to be playing on the fact that its Computer and Manual
  32. and nothing else.  But Noel Leemings beat him in advertising a help desk.
