- Sorry to be the bearer of bad new Frank but most HDs nowadays there
- arn't too many mechnical failures anymore like a bad bubble or
- crashed heads. The main failure always is going to be the circuit
- boards. The companies that repair HDs know this and thats why you
- see exclusions in their deals and warrantys do not cover mechanical
- failure. They get most of their money by replacing boards. The
- boards arn't that hard to troubleshoot, especially if you have a
- HD troubleshooting guide its its real easy. Besides if you do pay
- for someones board I would Imagine your gambling here and buying
- them as-is since they probably are bad also...
