- C'mon. TCP/IP *is* 8-bit clean AS DESIGNED. The problem is in the
- stupid (c & 0177) people add to their programs for absolutely no
- reason (except for wish to be "compatible" with RFC822). Fix your
- sendmail and you'll get all 8 bits NOW. (BTW, EUnet already is
- 8-bit clean). The only brute force action necessary is to declare
- that 7 bits is no longer considered "standard".
