  14. I've bought the Rationale (but not the standard).  According to the
  15. data in the book, it is published by Silicon Press, and has ISBN

  22. It cost me 80 Finnish marks, which is about 16 US dollars, but that
  23. was when the store was trying to get rid of it.  It is a thinnish book
  24. (about 120 pages), white cover, about two centimeters higher than K&R.
  25. The full title is "Rationale for the ANSI C Programming Language".

  29. Incidentally, that store---one of the best in Finland---hadn't ever
  30. even heard of the standard itself.  Sigh.  But on the other hand, they
  31. have shelves of books that claim that NULL is defined as '\0' in
  32. <stdlib.h> and there only, or other stupid things like that. :-(
