- In our own humble opinion ATK has the best integrated MIME support of
- any mail reading software :-)
-
- Seriously, ATK 5.1 supports MIME mail. If both the sender and receiver
- have ATK the mime-ness of the transfer is almost entirely transparent.
- (One of the exceptions is styles wrapped around views, which the ATK to
- MIME conversion can't handle.)
-
- For non-ATK objects in MIME mail ATK behaves similarly to other mail
- readers which have been extended to use metamail to read such mail (ie
- run metamail, and it brings up a window). The exception here is that
- MIME's rich text is automatically converted to and from ATK format
- styled text.
