  15. I don't know about problems unique to the Parallax video card, but
  16. otherwise, about the only incompatibility you'll likely encounter in
  17. running the X11R5 Andrew binaries (from the CD ROM distribution)  under
  18. X11R4 is that the font format is different (pcf vs snf).  Source from
  19. this latest distribution can be compiled and linked against either X11R5
  20. or X11R4 libraries.  While in theory  you could get by in just building
  21. the .snf fonts, this isn't really feasible because Andrew fonts are
  22. scattered throughout the build tree.  Fortunately, though, Andrew in its
  23. entirety builds easily from the X11R5 distribution on Sun platforms.
