  15. I'm exploring the concept of using our aging campus mainframe to 
  16. do network backups of the campus UNIX & PC boxes......
  17. our thoughts are that we would solicit from the individual users
  18. on each machine which directories were more valuable than others
  19. and then we would custom taylor the program to do the work during
  20. the wee hours of twilight via ftp.  Letting the users make the
  21. choices seems the best way to aviod issues of privacy, where they
  22. are given the opportunity to disclose the data they want kept 
  23. up to date and the secret stuff would have to be their own responsibility!
