- The crypt() function, which is used for password encryption, is functionally
- the same on all unices I know. I don't know the program 'Killer Cracker',
- but I think it's just another variant of crack. This means, the program cracks
- the passwords just by trying (tries username etc, a long word list, and
- modifications (backwards, double) thereof) and not, that it can reverse the
- encryption. So, if you choose good passwords, this programs can't crack it.
