  14. I am interested in purchasing a robot for our department.  I looked
  15. at the Hero 2000 (loaded) for about $4.5k.  But when I called to order
  16. it, I guess Heath Kit stopped making and selling them!  I would like
  17. to use the robot in teaching a first course on robotics (undergrad
  18. level 400, senior course). 
  19.  
  20. So I would like to know the following:
  21.    1) is there a robot with the similar features of Hero 2000 on the
  22.       market (name, phone, $, etc); and
  23.    2) for folks who have taught a similar course, what do you
  24.       recommend for:  a robot; a text; reference material; etc.
