- Hi,
-
- I am currently volounteering at an organization in which I was asked
- to try to connect a PC to an internet service, so that the
- organization could have ftp access (and possibly telnet access).
-
- We have PC/TCP version 2.05 and manuals, however I am having some
- difficulty getting it to work properly. If anyone with experience
- with PC/TCP can help me out, I'd appreciate it. I've outlined below
- what I need to do.
-
- Thanks,
- Damir
- --------------------------------------------------------------------
- What needs to be done:
-
- - our PC is supposed to be set up with ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.y
- - we are supposed to connected via modem (using Slip I guess) to
- a host at the other end with ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.z, I need
- to set up this host with this address.
- - access to internet should only be on demand, i.e. I need to
- set up a simple way for the modem to dial and ftp (possibly
- telnet) access would be available.
