  28. Quite a few people responded to my mail about this, so here's what
  29. I have found.....

  31. The bottom line from both Sun and Microsoft is this:

  33. W4W introduced a new version of the protocol manager, version 2.1.
  34. PC-NFS, and just about every other tcp/ip product that supports
  35. NDIS, is compatible with version 1.x.
  36.  
  37. Sun is aware of the bug and it's in their queue to fix.  They did
  38. not specifically state they were actively working on the fix or
  39. when it would be available.
  40.  
  41. So for W4W to work with PC-NFS Sun needs to patch/upgrade their
  42. NDIS driver to support version 2.1 of protman.dos (version 1.1 is
  43. called protman.sys).
  44.  
  45. When I get the fixes to make W4W and PC-NFS work together I will
  46. post here.....
