- - I would like to know if the crynwr packet driver
- - 3C503.ASM/3C503.COM is compatible with 3COM's Etherlink IITP
- - [3C503B-TP] ethernet card. If so how should the card be set up
- - for the packet driver to work properly. I have installed the card
- - on a Dell 450DE/2.
- -
- -So far as I know it's compatible. You will need to set your card to
- -use shared memory if you're using a version prior to 10.5.1.
-
- Hmm. Where might I obtain this particular version? It seems that
- the release 10 3c503.com is 10.4.1 (Actually, it displays
- ".4.1", but I assume that is what is meant).
-
- Actually it displays ":.4.1". :( '9'+1==':', you see. When I went
- from version 9 to version 10, I forgot that 10 has one more digit
- than nine.
-
- But anyway, it's in drivers3.zip, available from all the standard
- packet driver places (see HOWTOGET.IT in 10.x).
-
- -russ <nelson@crynwr.com> What canst *thou* say?
- Crynwr Software Crynwr Software sells packet driver support.
