  15. Some days ago I asked in this group about LPD servers for PC-hardware.
  16. A useable package seems to be the "NOS LPD - Line Printer Daemon" by
  17. David E. Johnson (wotk!davidj@uunet.uu.net), release 1.2

  19. I can nearly get this to work, as I can use things like TELNET and FTP
  20. with this package, but it just refuses to accept input on port 515. As far
  21. as I can see the PC have been setup as the manual describes... I have tried
  22. mail to the author, but it bounces. Does anybody have any experience with this
  23. package? Does it really work?
