- I am quite aware of the IP Multicast support in Solaris 2.X (SunOS 5.X). My reason
- for mentioning ToolTalk is that ToolTalk IS a multicast IPC service and it provides
- the level of multicast messaging required by a large variety of applications. For
- relevance to this news group, ToolTalk is layered on top RPC using TCP/IP for
- transport.
