  25. For the people who have responded to me directly about my post:

  27. I am quite aware of the IP Multicast support in Solaris 2.X (SunOS 5.X).  My reason
  28. for mentioning ToolTalk is that ToolTalk IS a multicast IPC service and it provides
  29. the level of multicast messaging required by a large variety of applications.  For
  30. relevance to this news group, ToolTalk is layered on top RPC using TCP/IP for
  31. transport.
