  12. We have an EXB8200 tape unit attached to a server workstation.
  13. For some reason, the RPUT job doesn't seem to like the EXB tape
  14. drive.  After I start up RPUT, a few files go off to tape, but then
  15. I get a message LL011F: Write failed.  The manual says the tape
  16. drive is write protected or otherwise unavailable.  (That's what
  17. that message is supposed to mean).  However, if I use the PC version
  18. of TAR to do the backup, I can write to the tape just fine.

  20. Do I need to do something weird with some options to make RPUT work
  21. with the EXB 8200 drive?  (The funny part is, RGET and RLIST work
  22. just fine).
