- I would also be interested in any type of caching program that would speed up
- NFS performance. We use PCNFS on our networks and also find that the
- performance doesn't compare well to other protocol such as Novell.

- Wouldn't it be possible to cache stuff to your local hard drive as long as the
- files you're opening are locked? That would certainly improve performance.

- Does anyone know of a DFS implementation for a PC? I understand it caches a
- lot of the data to your local hard disk. This would certainly provide
- excellent performance.
