- Using a Fastpath 4, we have been trying to set up an IPTalk zone on a
- class B network. The FastPath manual shows the 'simple' way of configuring
- an IPTalk network, and it does appear in the Chooser. However I cannot
- seem to make the FastPath reply to the CAP host.
-
- Both have the the same high 3 bytes, so that I am using the low order byte
- as the appletalk node number. Older FastPath manuals tell me that IPTalk
- is possible on Class-A and Class-B networks via an atalkatab but provide
- very little information. I am under the impression that if I keep the
- CAP Host and FastPath having the same high 3 bytes I dont need to worry
- about this.
-
- CAP is patch level 100 running on an SGI, under IRIX 4.0.1. I have
- seen packets go to the FastPath, so I assume CAP compiled correctly.
- I have also tried both ranges of ports...
-
- What am I doing wrong? How do I fix it?
-
- thanks,
