  28.    Has anyone tried using an in-line authentication box (like the
  29.    Digital Pathways Defender 5000) with ARA?

  31.    An in-line authentication box would sit between the answering
  32.    modem and the ARA server.  The user would have to prove his or her
  33.    identity before the authentication box would complete the connection
  34.    to the ARA server.  I guess the real question is can the ARA client
  35.    software support this dialog prior to completion of the ARAP connection.

  54.     The GatorLink is currently being used in several environments that
  55. do this. You can contact Security Dynamics at 617-547-7820 for information
  56. about there hardware ACE server product. You can also contact LeeMah in
  57. Hayward at 510-786-0790. The contact there was Norm Sutton. I am not sure
  58. if anyone has used the Digital Pathways product but the concepts are so
  59. similar that I doubt there would be any problem. Feel free to contact
  60. sales@cayman.com for more information as they are pretty familiar with
  61. what everyone is doing out there with the GatorLink.
