- Take a normal 3 pin localtalk cable, chop (well, cut :) it in half,
- crimp a rj-11 (connect the wires to the yellow - black pair) on it
- or hardwire it into your star.

- Warning: make sure that thing is plugged into the boxes at all times,
- or you may have termination problems.

- Polarity doesn't seem to be a problem with localtalk.
