  19. Sounds very much like the FilterTop project currently nearing completion. 
  20. It's a bunch of Macintosh programmers working together but at their own
  21. locations.  None had worked together before the project began.  They decided
  22. what project to undertake, divided it up, and by the few accounts I've seen
  23. are progressing rapidly.  The result is intended to be freeware or PD (I'm
  24. not sure which).
