  12. I'm trying to use my VAXstation as an Xwindows server for a non-VMS client.
  13. Naturally, the client is asking for fonts I don't have.  Given VMS v5.4-3 and
  14. DECwindows 2.0, is there a way to map the requested fonts to the available
  15. fonts?  I tried creating DECW$FONTS:FONTS.ALIAS (as per the file in
  16. DECW$EXAMPLES:) but no luck.  I also tried DECW$FONT_ALIAS_FILENAMES.DAT (which
  17. I think is actually for MOTIF which I haven't installed yet) but it didn't work
  18. either.

  20. I have instructions for generating the missing fonts, but I thought I'd rather
  21. just map the fonts (due to space considerations).
