  14.   It is my understanding that some time ago someone posted a message
  15. regarding the connection of an Ultrix VAX and a VMS VAX to an HSC70.
  16. However, I was unable to find the message in the older ones we have kept.
  17.  
  18.   I am interested in connecting our VAX 6310 Ultrix to the same HSC70
  19. that currently supports our VMS VAX 8600 and VMS VAX 780.  I know this
  20. is not supported by DEC however the person that had posted the message
  21. said that they did not have many/(any?) problems with this configuration.
  22. If I remember correctly, I would not be able to use the exact same disk
  23. off the HSC70 for both VMS and Ultrix.  That will not be a problem.

  25.   What I am looking for is confirmation of my recollections and the person
  26. that either had posted the message or someone with a similar configuration.
  27. Also, if you could point out any gotcha's, software versions, or other
  28. helpful hints to make this work, I would appreciate it.
