- The only way to do this is to either get a larger disk and do a backup
- from the smaller disk onto the larger which now becomes the user disk,
- or to combine two (or more) disks into one logical volume. The
- traditional way to do this in VMS was a volume set, created with
- MOUNT/BIND. A newer way which I have heard works, but I have no
- experience with is to set up a Stripe set with several disks. There was
- recently a discussion here about the pros and cons of the two methods.

- I know that volume sets work, since we did that at my last job. I'm
- sure that stripe sets can work also, but I'm not sure how.
