- available from your local friendly ftp server - eg

- Several people said they had modified versions of this , which could cope with
- little-endian byte orderings etc....

- I also got a call from a company called "Essential Computing", who offered
- to sell me a product to read VMS tapes under Unix - they seemed rather
- surprised when I told them that there was public domain code to do this, and
- wanted to know where I got it from :-)
