- I'm having some problems trying to get the NFS client to mount a
- read only file system from a sparc.
-
- The NFS, and LAPS packages are from the oct. DAP CD, and the base
- tcp/ip package has the latest CSD applied to it. The machine is a
- 486DX33 with a 3c507 ethernet card.
-
- The problem is the I can mount the file system, at least the mount program
- says it was successfully mounted, but when I try to access the drive,
- I get a error message.
- There are two Network command not supported error messages and one
- message 95 not found in file ????.msg -- I forget the files name but it is
- present. Then the nfsc program crashes and has to get terminated, it
- executes an illegal instruction or something.
-
- Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reduce the search space for this
- error ?
-
- Anyone know what wrong ?
-
-
- Thanks in advance
