  14. I'm having some problems trying to get the NFS client to mount a
  15. read only file system from a sparc.
  16.  
  17. The NFS, and LAPS packages are from the oct. DAP CD, and the base 
  18. tcp/ip package has the latest CSD applied to it.  The machine is a
  19. 486DX33 with a 3c507 ethernet card.
  20.  
  21. The problem is the I can mount the file system, at least the mount program
  22. says it was successfully mounted, but when I try to access the drive,
  23. I get a error message. 
  24. There are two Network command not supported error messages and one
  25. message 95 not found in file ????.msg -- I forget the files name but it is
  26. present.  Then the nfsc program crashes and has to get terminated, it
  27. executes an illegal instruction or something.

  29. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reduce the search space for this
  30. error ?
