- I have a similar set up (A 25Mhz 386 w/ NEC 3FGx monitor and a
- Orchid Prodesigner II, which has a ET4000). There are at least three
- sets of drivers on ftp-os2.nmsu.edu: A generic driver for 16 colors,
- A driver for Focus cards, and two sets of drivers from Orchid (one
- for 16 colors, and one for 256-- I'm using the 256 color drivers).
- If you have an Orchid card, you're out of luck on 70+Hz-- a readme file
- included with the drivers says not to use them above 60 Hz. :-(
-
- I'm having a problem now with the Orchid drivers which I've seen
- mentioned before-- in setup windows, the tabs on the setup notebook
- are unreadable, and when in the master help index, not only are
- the tabs unreadable but when the notebook is scrolled, new text simply
- scrolls over the top of the old, creating an unreadable mess.
-
- If a solution for this problem has been found, I would appreciate
- either mail or a news post.
