- I'm not trying to really do anything crucial to the operating
- system, just shut down an application (PMSHELL) that has gone awry. The
- Mouse and modem still work during these lockups, so the interupts aren't
- disabled, and Ctrl-alt-Numlock works, so the keyboard isn't locked up;
- it's just that the WPS isn't responding to input from the keyboard
- or mouse buttons. (by using ctrl-alt numlock, I'm able to do a warm boot
- when ctrl-alt delete does not work under a hung WPS)

- I've had the WPS recycle by itself-isn't there any way to force
- it to from the outside?
