- I recently put the WinOS2 3.1 beta from the PDK on top of my GA+SP
- installation. Things looked normal, BUT... I had to reset the default
- "Open" action for many icons (ie., RMB/Open/Icon_View was no longer the
- default doubleclick... had to fix the Menu stuff in RMB/Open/Settings).
- This was only a minor inconvenience (although it had me scared when
- doubleclicking OS/2 System didn't do anything!).
-
- More importantly, I had a "DEVICE=D:\OS2\VDISK.SYS 4096 256 256" set up,
- that no longer initializes! A SYSXXXX error appears that complains there
- are "not enough resources" to create the RAM disk. Bushwah...I have 32MB of
- RAM on board. More than plenty. Reducing the size of the virtual disk had
- no effect, as did moving it around in my CONFIG.SYS. Ideas?
-
- Regards,
- Alex
