- This is all very nice but it's really unfortunate it doesn't have
- anything to do with IBM's stock price since 1987. It hasn't split,
- it's just been falling like a stone as the market comes to understand
- the fundamental problems in IBM's business model and in many lines of
- their business. The bloom is off the IBM rose as an NYSE bellwether.

- For a minute or two I had no idea why you would redirect a
- legitimate discussion of the health of IBM as a business to that
- bastion of irrelevancy and silliness, talk.bizarre, until I got the
- point of the joke: yours was a fantasy post about some hypothetical IBM,
- I get it. Ignore the rest of my post.
