- I was faced with the choice of an ATI vantage and Diamond Stealth S3. I
- bought the Stealth first but it's svga mode would not work in os/2 (vga
- was ok). I returned it for the vantage which is register level 8514
- compatible, so i knew i could at least get 8514 compatibility. It
- installed without a hitch. If I were given the choice again, i would
- seriously reconsider buying an ATI product since their focus seems to
- be on NT, rather than OS/2. They have yet to release a 32-bit
- driver for os/2, for their older vantage and ultra boards. I understand
- the drivers for their new boards are buggy.
-
- I dont know if the stealth has 32-bit drivers for os/2 now. the board
- is supposedly faster than the vantage, and costs less.
