- I got 'round to trying 'em too and they work fairly well! But there is
- at least one bug worthy of note. On my Fahrenheit 1280/D, if I have it set for
- 70Hz refresh at 1024x768 it brings up 1024x768 @45Hz Interlaced, try
- staring at that for more than 1 second! The refresh (set with the dip
- switches on the board) has to be set at 60Hz non-interlaced. The 800x600
- driver will ONLY work at 60Hz, if I have the board set up for 72Hz it won't
- go in to graphics mode at all and even then I get a compressed viewport
- with about an inch of blank screen on either side of it.
- Also, it's worth mentioning that these drivers are STILL for the
- 16-bit GRE, a major gripe for me!
- I sent their CIS ID a note, mentioning the above gripe and bug, but
- it takes, in my experience, a couple of days to get a response.

-
- Actually with the first release I sent them a bug report and the
- Customer service person said their TWO best programmers were working on
- them. Of course that could be their standard reply to disgruntled
- customers... "We have our BEST programmers working on it!".
- Even so I am extremely happy that at least they have someone
- working on them!
