- Some miscellaneous questions...
-
- While using full-screen DOS emulation, suddenly all my files vanished,
- both on my primary and logical partitions. I exited, got back into the
- f-s Dos, and they were back. Has anyone else seen this happen?
-
- Are there any OS/2 icon viewers/deleters, other than the bundled
- icon editor? I have a directory with ove a Meg of icons, and I'd like
- to efficiently peruse and delete them. Windows icon viewers don't work.
-
- I tried getting 'INSTB' to work(which creates a boot/installation disk
- for drive B). I kept getting a "wrong boot image" message when running
- creating the second B boot diskette.
-
- Finally (for now), if one screws up the config.sys of a primary DOS
- partition, so that one cannot execute it (say, bad memory configuration),
- is there any way of recovering that partition without having to reinstall
- DOS? Would utility software like Norton utilities help, if it existed for
- OS/2?
