- I thought that IBM's TCP/IP for OS/2 had the "Stealth Product of the Year
- Award" wrapped up, but now I have a new candidate.
-
- IBM is running a promotion on a CDROM containing:
-
- o The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Current English
- o The Oxford Thesaurus
- o Oxford Dictionary of Quotations
- o Oxford Dictionary of Modern Quotations
- o Oxford Dictionary for Writers and Editors
- o The Complete Works of Shakespeare
- o The Oxford Guide to English Usage
- o The Oxford Dictionary of New Words
- o The Revised English Bible
- o Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
-
- According to the sheet I have, it is available until February 19, 1993 for
- 99.95, which is a great deal considering that the Windows version of just the
- OED is selling for over $800.00. (The CDROM is in BookManager format.)
-
- Now, the problem is finding someone at IBM who will actually sell this
- product to you (the Form Number is SK2T-1175). I spent about an hour today
- getting bounced from one 800 number to the next, and never was successful.
-
- Does anyone have a clue how to order what sounds like a wonderful product?
