- I called the DTC FAX response line yesterday, and got them to send me document
- #501, DTC Controllers and IBM OS/2 2.0 Support. The first paragraph reads as
- follows:
-
- "The drivers which are part of and built into the IBM OS/2 2.0
- operating system will allow you to install and work with the
- following DTC controllers:
-
- DTC2190/2290
- DTC3150/3250
- DTC3180/3280AS
- DTC3190/3290AS/HD
- DTC3292
- DTC6282-24
- DTC6295-24
-
- ** NOTE ** DTC does not currently provide any specific driver for
- any of the above DTC controllers for IBM OS/2 2.0."
-
- and the last paragraph on the page is as follows:
-
- "Is DTC in the process of developing specific drivers for IBM OS/2 2.0?
- DTC expects to offer OS/2 2.0 drivers for the DTC3280AS, DTC3290AS
- and DTC3292AS controllers in the near future but no fixed date has
- been set as to when they will be available. 1

- 1 A third party utility program kit called CorelSCSI provides CDROM,
- MO and other OS/2 drivers for SCSI adapters. Corel currently is
- testing these drivers with DTC SCSI controllers. Contact Corel for
- more information about their product."
-
- What I see here is the the INT13 driver is what DTC expects us to use now,
- and for enhanced support for devices other than HDD, contact Corel.
