- BUG WATCH (FROM PC WORLD)
-
- IBM OS/2 2.0
-
- Systems that use more than one type or more than one brand of memory chip
- may crash while running applications under OS/2 2.0. Users report receiving
- the error message 'Trap # error' before their system locks up.
- To avoid the problem, users should install either 9-chip or 3-chip SIMMS,
- but not both, and should avoid mixing chips from different manufacturers. An
- IBM spokesperson also advises that systems with 9-chip SIMMS seem to have
- fewer problems with OS/2 2.0 than those with 3-chip SIMMS.
