- I tried the CDR-74 with the 1542B way back at GA and found the BEST solution
- was my CORELSCSI software (which I already had). I lot of people were able
- to edit the CDROM.SYS with a binary editor and change the TOSHIBA id to
- NEC (note that spaces are important here...use spaces to wipe the rest
- of the characters in TOSHIBA).

- I also understand that the latest CDROM drivers (available on the CDROM
- itself...) should work fine with most drives. Since our sales person
- took my neat, portable, CD and gave me an old SONY (non-SCSI) I can't
- test any of the fun stuff any more.
